Akwadum (E/R), June 13, GNA - Winners Chapel Ghana choir, as part of the church’s 13th anniversary has presented a number of items including clothing and shoes, cooking utensils, toiletries, medicines, water tank and an undisclosed amount to the Akwadum orphanage.
The church also organized a health screening for the children at the orphanage and people in the community.
Led by Pastor Raymond Adabor and Pastor Moses Quarshie, resident pastor of the Koforidua branch of the church, the team spent the day with the children and shared the word of God with them.
Pastor Adabor said the gesture was to commemorate the church’s anniversary and to show appreciation to God for his kindness and mercies for the past 13 years of the church in the country and pledged their continuous support to such institutions.
Mr Samuel Quayson, the Director of the orphanage, who received the items, thanked the church for the kind gesture saying the donation would be used for the benefit of the children.
