Accra, May 15, GNA - Ghanaian Triple Jumper, Nadia Eke has extended her national record with a new lifetime best of 13.93m (+0.9).
The African Championship gold medalist placed second to Jamaicans Williams Kimberly in the ‘2017 Meeting Elite de St. Martin’ (14m32).
Eke 24, has an automatic entry to the World Championships as the 2016 African Champion, subject to ratification by the technical delegate.
The American based Ghanaian Triple Jumper has improved her national record on two occasions after breaking Mathile Boateng’s record (13.48m) in March 2016.
She’s now holds the National record for both indoor and outdoor triple jump events.
