Accra, April 26, GNA - Kwame Nsiah-Apau, a renowned Ghanaian musician, known in showbiz as Okyeame Kwame (OK) would soon hit Accra with a live music concert dubbed “OK stripped”.
The concert is to support his Hepatitis B campaign project, aimed at creating awareness and providing free vaccines to help annihilate hepatitis B in West Africa and beyond.
The event which would be held on April 28, 2017 at +233 Bar at Ridge, Accra would feature Kwabena Kwabena, MzVee, Adina, Trigmatic, Abochi, Flowking Stone, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Rhyme Sonny, Foster Romanus among others.
A statement by Patrick Fynn, the Public Relations Officer of Firm Bridges Communications, said the event was a follow-up to the one organised to raise funds to support Ghana’s Paralympics national team ahead of the 2016 Paralympics game in Rio last year.
This would be the third time the multiple award winning artiste would bring together consumers to experience live renditions of his best songs.
Aside the music performances, “there will be comedy, poetry and dance, as side attraction plus a question-and-answer session with OK, and the show is expected to leave indelible memories”.
