Winneba (C/R) April 17, GNA - A total of 25 babies were delivered in Effutu Municipality hospital from the Good Friday to Easter Monday Morning.
They were made up of Nine Males and Sixteen females.
Madam Georgina Koomson, Midwife on duty who told the Ghana News Agency said on Friday, five males and One female were born, one male and five females were also born on the Saturday, while one male and seven females were also born on Easter Sunday and two males and three females were delivered on Monday morning.
According to her, the babies and their mothers were in good condition and had all been discharged except those that were delivered on Monday morning.
She urged pregnant women in the area to seek early and regular Antenatal Care to ascertain their health status as well as the conditions of their foetus.
He said the attendance would also enable them to identify and manage danger signs during pregnancy.
