Fuseni (L) in a handshake with Country Marketing Manager of BetPawa after receiving his dummy cheque
Betting outfit, BetPawa (Home of big winners), yesterday presented its biggest cheque for GH¢6 million to winner – Fuseni Siaka at a presentation ceremony in Accra.
The teary Kumasi-based proud winner, 36, recounting how he landed the jackpot captured it thus, “It was not by my might, l will say it is God.”
The winner, a painter at Barekese, a Kumasi suburb, pointed out that he landed the fortune with just GH¢40 after few attempts amid his cellphone challenges.
He said “…l was shocked when I saw the figure, I couldn’t pronounced it so I showed it to a brother, the next moment, I had a call from BetPawa and the caller told me not to worry, and that my cash was intact.
“I told my mum, who pray for me regularly about it, so she wouldn’t question the source of my wealth because she knew my financial status was at the lowest ebb. Later, they visited in a convoy, flew me in a private jet, gave me a brand new iPhone 15 Promax, and here I am today, thanks to BetPawa for this massive turn around. It’s real, but don’t borrow to bet, use the little you have and you could be the next winner.”
Country Marketing Manager, Joseph Badu, likened the winner’s story to the biblical Joseph saying, “We are here to unveil and celebrate the biggest winner, Fuseni. This goes to show how credible we are. It is not a lie. We keep our promises.”
The winner was in the company of his friend and sister.
BetPawa is the headline sponsor of the Ghana Premier League.
