Rotary Int. Gives To Skate Soccer

The donor and officials and players of Ghana Skate Soccer

Rotary International, Ring Road Central Branch, has presented skate soccer equipment worth thousands of cedis to Ghana Skate Soccer Federation.

The items included headgears (helmet), knee and elbow pads.

President of Rotary International, Ring Road Central branch, Tony Asare indicated that the gesture was to support the sport as they strive to market it to the outside world.

He added that polio ranks high among the problems his outfit seeks to address.

“As a club, we look at areas where we can support, hence this gesture. Last year, for instance, we injected $1.2m into the purchase of polio drugs as we strive to uproot it.”

Officials of Ghana Skate Soccer thanked the donors for the gesture.
