A designer was last Tuesday sentenced to a nine-month jail term by the Accra Circuit Court for defrauding a pastor of GH¢8,000 under the pretext of facilitating his enlistment into the security services. A 38-year-old second-hand clothes dealer is currently fighting for her life at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra after she was allegedly set on fire by a co-tenant, Godwin Tetteh, at Alajo in Accra.
