Much remains to be done in the hospitality industry

The State rightly went into the hotel and allied businesses after independence.  Ghanaians placed in charge of institutions did not all however perform up to expectation.  Our premier hotel, “The Ambassador” Hotel, collapsed and eventually foreign “partnership” was sought to manage the State hotels and generally to promote the hospitality industry.  We have since made satisfactory progress.
