The Supreme Court of Ghana, currently hearing a petition brought before it by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 2012 election, and two others, has by its recent ruling given a strong indication of its readiness to deal with people who make contemptuous comments about the court.
