Ban on used vehicles: Industry players want proper modalities before implementation

The Automobile Dealers Union of Ghana has hinted of a possible demonstration if parliament does not come out with clearer modalities on the ban on importation of second hand or used vehicles in the country.

Parliament last week gave an indication of its readiness to put in place a regulatory framework for the importation of ‘second-hand’ and salvaged vehicles.
