The Ghana Securities Industry Association says the decision by Securities and Exchange Commission to revoke the licenses of the 53 fund management companies, is a necessary evil.
The President of the Association, Emmanuel Alex Asiedu, believes that the country’s capital market industry despite its strong growth over the past decade, had in recent times shown several signs of distress begging the regulator’s intervention.
