International public broadcaster, Voice of America (VOA), is holding a training workshop for journalists of Accra based broadcaster, Citi FM/ Citi TV, as part of a collaboration that exists between the media organizations.
Top notch staff of VOA, with enormous experiences, are taking the gallant Citi FM/Citi FM reporters through series of sessions to do with especially TV production and everything in between.
The training is geared towards equipping the reporters with the right skill sets and the nitty-gritty for meeting international standard practices in TV news production.
The four-day workshop which begun on Monday, January 7, 2019, and will end on Thursday January 10, is dubbed: “Developing coverage and delivering news.”
The facilitators for the training workshop include Kathryn Peterson, Regional Marketing Director, West and Central Africa Office of Business Development for VOA, and Scott Bobb, a former staff of VOA with about 40 years experience in journalism.

Citi FM, operating on a frequency of 97.3 Mhz is an English-speaking radio station that operates from Adabraka in Accra, the capital of Ghana.
