BOST Energies Limited Company has been named Energy Company of the Year (Petroleum) at the 2025 Ghana Energy Awards, highlighting its growing influence in the country’s petroleum supply chain and its efforts to modernise operations in a rapidly evolving sector.
The awards ceremony, held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, brought together policy-makers, regulators and industry leaders to recognise performance, innovation and leadership across the energy value chain.
Organisers said BOST Energies’ selection reflected its operational improvements, investment in infrastructure and efforts to enhance efficiency and transparency. The company has, in recent years, expanded its storage and distribution capacity and introduced digital systems aimed at reducing losses and improving delivery timelines.
In reaction to the award, the company’s board, management and staff said they were “delighted” by the recognition and dedicated it to customers, partners and stakeholders. They added that the win reinforced their commitment to maintaining a reliable petroleum supply and supporting the country’s long-term energy security.
The Ghana Energy Awards, now one of the sector’s flagship events, seeks to highlight best practices and encourage competition among operators. The awards also serve as a platform for engagement on the sector’s challenges, including pricing volatility, financing constraints and the need for more resilient energy infrastructure.
BOST Energies said it intends to build on the achievement by deepening collaboration with government and private-sector partners as it pursues new growth opportunities.
The company said its focus will remain on strengthening performance, investing in technology and contributing to a more sustainable and competitive energy sector.
