Universities in the country have been urged to structure their curricula to benefit society by transforming and also meeting their aspirations.
This is the most reason that the Radford University College (RUC) is focused on entrepreneurship, professionalism and scholarship to enable its graduates attain exceptional standards, Dr. Paul Effah, President of RUC, said.
He was speaking at the university’s 2014 Graduate Fashion Show held at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra, as part of the university’s entrepreneurship scheme.
The event was organised by the Fashion Design Department of the university and adjudged the most well-organised fashion show by a tertiary institution in recent times.
The university, he said, is in the process of linking up with Coventry University of the UK to assist in its academic activities.
Head of the university’s Fashion Design Department Ms. Yvonne Ntiamoah was excited by the event’s success and urged the graduates to go back into society and effect a change in lifestyles.
One of the sponsors of the programme, Ecobank Ghana Limited, promised to assist graduates with entrepreneurial skills to set up their own businesses.
