KNUST re-appoints Vice-Chancellor

The Council of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has renewed the appointment of its Vice-Chancellor, Prof. William Otoo-Ellis, for a two-year second term of office with effect from August 01, 2014 to July 31st 2016.

Professor William Otoo-Ellis was appointed Vice-Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology on the 1st of October 2010 for his four-year tenure to steer affairs of the university.

At the beginning of his term, he clearly outlined his vision to reposition KNUST as a global institution for science and technology with national development as the focal point.

He has made significant progress in the achievement of this vision, especially in the areas of science and technology research, graduate training, information and communication technology (ICT), quality assurance, capacity building, and collaborations among other areas.
