The country’s largest buyer of cocoa of cocoa beans, PBC Limited, has presented a cheque in the amount of GH¢50,000 to support the 28th National Farmers’ Day celebration.
Presenting the cheque, the Head of Corporate Affairs PBC Limited, Nanette Aryee, recognised the importance of the farmer in PBC’s operation and the socio-economic development of the country, and pledged the company’s continuous support to the event.
The Minister of Food and Agriculture, Kwesi Ahwoi who received the cheque, expressed his sincerest gratitude to PBC Limited for supporting the National Farmers’ Day celebration over the years and congratulated the company for emerging as overall best in the Ghana club 100 rankings.
