Ghana in Retrospect
At independence, our forefathers who toiled to get freedom, meant well for our growth, development and survival as a new nation-state. They envisaged a nation in which the people would be self-reliant and sufficient in almost all sectors of the economy. They inculcated in us a sense of patriotism and nationalism to be each other's keeper. In a nutshell, they gave us hope for a bright future.
