EPA to Clamp Down On Unregistered Agrochemical Shops
THE ENVIRONMENTAL Protection Agency (EPA) has indicated its readiness to clamp-down on unregistered agrochemical operators, as well as those who are not adhering to good practices of handling pesticides in the country. Speaking at a day's training workshop, organised by the EPA, on pesticides control and management under the West Africa Agricultural Productivity Programme (WAAPP 2) in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional Director of the EPA, Mr. Felix Addo-Okyireh, raised serious concerns over the situation.
