Ghana assistant coach Maxwell Konadu is expecting a strong resistance from Cameroon in the second semifinal game of the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon Thursday night.
Avram Grant’s deputy feels the pedigree and form the Cameroonians bring to the game will pose a big threat to the Stars’ quests for a second successive AFCON final.
“We respect our opponents and we know they have some talent in their squad.
“We know the pedigree has and the form they have been in this tournament so it’s not going to be easy at all.
“We have to do the right things before we can think of victory against them,” Konadu said.
The Indomitable Lions take on Ghana’s Black Stars at 7pm Thursday. The winner will face Egypt, who beat Burkina Faso on penalties to reach the final.
