President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed investment banker, Yoofi Grant as the new Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC).
The GIPC is an institution charged with the facilitation and promotion of investments in all sectors of the Ghanaian economy
The position was originally occupied by Mrs Mawuena Trebarh a business and communications strategist who is described as one with a stellar career in corporate Ghana.

She is I credited for her initiatives which include the ‘Think Ghana, Make it Happen’ campaign, Womens Caucus Project Brochure, GIPC CEOs Breakfast Meetings and the ‘Taste and See Ghana Experience’.
The GIPC was recognized as the ‘Best Investment Promotion Agency in West and Central Africa,’ fpor which they picked up an award at the Annual Investment Meeting 2016 in Dubai.
Mrs Trebarh, maiden name Dumor, was President Mahama’s appointment to the highly-sought-after top job.
Mr. Yoofi Grant who served Nana Akufo-Addo as a strategist on his campaign will now proceed with his duties with immediate effect.
He was the Executive Director of Data Bank Private Equity Limited between 2011 and 2012.
He also served the Data Bank Group from 2009 to 2010 as the Executive Director, Business Development.
It is expected that Mr. Grant would bring his 30-year old experience in the business world to bare on his new job.
