Coach Nana Joe Adarkwa has parted ways with Ghana Women’s Premier League former Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC.
Nana Joe Adarkwa spent nine years with the club and led the Techiman based their maiden Ghana Women’s Premier League title in 2015 and broke the dominance of Hasaacas Ladies in Women’s League.
He guided to two other WPL titles and a Super Cup. Their participation in the 3rd WPL was great journey but they missed out on the ultimate.
As we part ways, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to coach and mentor each of you. Your dedication, passion, and perseverance have inspired me every step of the way. I’m so proud of the progress we’ve made together, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the memories we’ve created. You’ve not only grown as athletes, but also as individuals, and I have no doubt that you’ll carry the lessons and values we’ve shared onto future endeavors.Thank you again for an unforgettable journey. I’ll be cheering for each of you every step of the way.
Under his tutelage, Ampem Darkoa produced a number of national team players including Mavis OWUSU, Comfort Yeboah, Justice Tweneboah, Princella Adubea, Grace Asantewaa, Priscilla Okyere and Mary Amponsah.
