Bawumia has become the signature of Akufo-Addo’s failure – Bawah Mogtari

The spokesperson of John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari has said the Vice President and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawaumia was at the receiving end of President Akufo-Addo’s failure.

Speaking to TV3’s Komla Kluste at the office of the John Mahama in Accra on Monday, December 9, he said “Bawumia has become the signature of Akufo-Addo’s failure.”

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia earlier congratulated former President John Dramani Mahama for winning the general elections.

He indicated that per their own collated results Mr Mahama won the elections hence his congratulatory message.

In his concession address on Sunday, December 8, he said “Let me say the data indicate former president Mahama has won the presidential election decisively.

“The NDC has also won the parliamentary elections even though we await the final collation of seats.

“I just called H.E John Mahama to congratulate him.”

He said he “assured Mr Mahama of full support in the transition process so that the government business would continue seamlessly.”
