Former Ghana Football Association Vice President, George Afriyie has questioned Kurt Okraku’s style of managing the Black Stars of Ghana which has led to a serious decline in recent years.
Ghana recorded no win in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers which resulted in them not qualifying for the final tournament.
The former Black Stars Management Committee Chairman has said Kurt Okraku is doing trial and error with the Black Stars which is Ghana’s number one sporting brand.
“The number one Sporting brand in Ghana is the Black Stars and Kurt Okraku together with his cohort are doing trial and error with it,” George Afriyie told Connect FM in an interview.
Ghana missed out on the 2025 AFCON and it’s the first time since 2004 they will not play in AFCON.
George Afriyie stressed the need for Kurt Okraku to apologize for the poor showing by the Black Stars.
“Kurt Okraku should eat his humble pie and apologize to Ghanaians. Stop the too-knowing and listen to advice. Kurt Okraku thinks he is too smart and intelligent than everyone,” he added.
