The Board of Directors of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital has informed the CEO Dr Opoku Ware Ampomah that his four-year term comes to an end on October 5th, 2024.
The Board Chair Dr David Nkawansa Dwamena congratulated him for his dedication and invaluable contributions “to the growth and development of the Hospital during your tenure.”
“As we await communication from the appointing authorities regarding the next steps, the Board has resolved to appoint Dr. Frank Owusu- Sekyere, Director of Medical Affairs, to act as Interim Chief Executive Officer effective October 6th, 2024.
“The Board’s primary concern remains the seamless continuity of the Hospital’s operations and the well-being of our patients. We solicit the cooperation and support of all stakeholders during this transition period. Thank you for your service,” a statement said.
