An independent Parliamentary candidate for Oforikrom Constituency, Benjamin Afrane, has officially unveiled an ambitious and comprehensive action plan aimed at transforming the area.
Mr Afrane, who is a former member of NPP also believes in the visionary policy framework of Alan Kyerematen that seeks to propel Ghana into a new era of sustainable development, with a tangible impact on people’s lives.
Speaking at Akoma FM’s “Me Mpotemu Keteke” at Tech Junction Trotro Station, Mr Afrane said the time has come for the people to reject both NPP and NDC.
He said his work as an Assembly Member for Boadi and other activities in the Constituency gives him edge to represent the people of Oforikrom Constituency in Parliament.
He outlined key policy recommendations across several sectors, including agriculture, industry, education and healthcare, aiming to create a more stable, diversified and resilient Constituency.
He attributed the Constituency’s plight on failed leadership, unproductive attitudes, divisiveness within political sphere and the winner takes all mentality.
“We are at where we are now because we have brought this upon ourselves,” Mr Afrane stated, underscoring the need for introspection and change.
He was not happy about lack of development in the Oforikrom Constituency for the past 20 years.
