Almoroj SC have signed John Antwi and Clifford Aboagye, with the Ghanaian duo joining the Libyan club.
Both players have been announced and will be hoping to help improve the team ahead of the upcoming league season.
Antwi joined the club on a free transfer after parting ways with Dreams FC at the end of last season.
He returned to Ghana to help Dreams FC progress to the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, his experience proving valuable for the debutants who greatly impressed on the continental stage.
Antwi has significant experience with North African football, making a great impression in Egypt, where he scored 102 goals in all competitions with Egyptian clubs.
Aboagye, 29, has also joined the club, hoping to remind everyone of his brilliant best. He made a promising start to his career, being one of the top players at youth level, as he starred in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2013. He was the tournament’s third-best player, sharing the podium with French star Paul Pogba.
However, Aboagye has struggled since then, with stints in Mexico and Spain. He has now returned to Africa and is hoping to seize this opportunity.
This move could give him a last shot to reach the level that was expected when he burst onto the scene at a young age.
