The Ashanti Regional Security Council (REGSEC) has asked the police to declare the students’ leadership of the Krobea Asante Technical and Vocational Institute wanted.
This directive is linked to a student protest in the school last Sunday.
Chairman of REGSEC and regional minister Simon Osei-Mensah, who gave this order, also confirms a five-member committee would be set up to investigate the January 22 incident.
The protest on campus led to the destruction of properties, forcing authorities to shut down the school.
Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah, who has since condemned the actions by the students, said anybody found culpable will not go unpunished.
