The son of late Mion-Lana Mahamadu Abdullai V, Mahamadu Alhassan, has been eskinned as the regent of Mion.
He was enskinned at a ceremony held on Friday, August 26.
The late Mion-Lana, who was the heir-apparent to the Dagbon throne, died at the 37 Military Hospital on Wednesday, August 17 after a short illness.
His body was airlifted to Yendi, where he was subsequently laid to rest.
The entire Dagbon was thrown into a state of shock following the news of his passing. He died aged 48.
His son, who works with the National Investigations Bureau (NIB), will occupy the skin.
