The Ghana Police Service says it is on a manhunt for perpetrators behind Tuesday’s attacks on National Democratic Congress (NDC) Northern Region office.
Irate youth destroyed properties and fired gunshots as they stormed the office to protest the endorsement of one Ali Adolf as the acting party regional chairman.
NDC’s Northern Region First Vice Chairman Alhaji Rufai Vielim was picked up Tuesday night for interrogation as he was said to have instigated the youth action.
In a statement on Wednesday, the police said they have already launched a manhunt for the perpetrators.
The Service assured that all those found culpable will be made to face the full rigours of the law.
