Music producer Hammer shared an article on Ayigbe Edem’s debut album, Volta Regime, written in 2009, calling it his “best body of work in a single project.
The ‘Volta Regime’ contained 13 songs produced by Hammer. The album featured Samini, Kwaw Kese, KK Fosu, Kwabena Kwabena and Tinny.
Ayigbe Edem’s appearance in Ghana’s music industry was ” a very bold attempt that contemporary music styles can be rendered in Ewe as effectively as in Twi or Ga.”
Sharing the article on his Facebook Page, Hammer captioned, ” Throwback archives 2009. Arguably my best body of work in a single project.”
The article also mentioned Ayigbe Edem’s appearance on Hammer’s compilation album, Crusade of the Lost Files.
