The website of the Ministry of Education has been offline for the past two weeks, 3news.com can confirm.
It is unclear what the real issues are but this comes as a worry to many teacher trainees who sat for last year’s licensure exams and awaiting to be posted.
Applications are expected to be filed via the portal and the weeks-downtime is brewing agitation among teachers.
A recent visit to the website showed that despite being successfully installed on the server, it needs a file manager to open at the front end.

3news.com sources say the Ministry owes the website’s hosts, who have consequently shut it down until full payment is made.
