The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing of the Election Petition to tomorrow Wednesday January 20.
Hearing is expected to resume at 9:30 AM.
The apex court adjourned the case after hearing the pre-trial arguments by lawyers representing all the parties in the case on Tuesday January 19.
The petition was filed by the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama.
Mr Mahama who has disagreed with the election results announced by the Chair of the Electoral Commission (ERC) is asking the apex court to order a rerun of the elections.
In his view, no candidate won the polls per his calculation.
The EC announced the candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo the winner of last year’s polls.
