Dumelo wants voting at Gimpa polling station halted over absence of indelible ink
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Ayawaso West Wougon, John Dumelo is demanding that voting at the GIMPA polling station be paused due to the absence of indelible ink at the polling station.
He says the process could be unproductive if voters are not made to use the indelible ink before casting their vote which according to him, is the secure way of detecting an attempt to over vote..
” I am disappointed in the process. We do not have indelible ink here, and they are allowing the process to still continue which is wrong.
“There should be indelible ink. suggest that they stop the whole process and let them get the ink before they continue. The indelible ink is the surest way to know that one has voted or not?
John Dumelo is contesting the New Patriotic Party’s candidate, Lydia Alhasan for the Ayawaso West Parliamentary seat.
