Messi, Pele react to Maradona’s death
Football legend, Diego Armando Maradona was confirmed dead on November 25, 2020 at his residence in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The former Argentina attacking midfielder and manager has suffered from heart attack for some weeks now.
He holds an enviable record in football and his passing away has got the sporting world talking.
World Pele tweeted “Que notícia triste. Eu perdi um grande amigo e o mundo perdeu uma lenda. Ainda há muito a ser dito, mas por agora, que Deus dê força para os familiares. Um dia, eu espero que possamos jogar bola juntos no céu.”

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt joined many to mourn with the family of the late football star by tweeting a picture he has with him after his death was confirmed online.

Argentina’s last World Cup success was in 1986 and Maradona played a major role in that success.
He emerged as the Golden ball winner of the tournament hosted in Mexico.
The Argentine Football Federation knowing his impacts on their game had to send a message with a picture of him holding the World Cup trophy.
