[Video] Kuami Eugene fires Ghanaians over lack of support for artists
Ghanaian high-life and afrobeat singer-songwriter Kuami Eugene has criticized his colleague artists and Ghanaians in general for the low level of supports shown to players in the music industry in Ghana.
He noted that Ghanaians are unwilling to share the success stories of artists on their social media pages but are quick to do so when there is bad news.
This, he said is wrong and must stop.
He said in a video on his twitter handle that “We are very peaceful but nobody wants to share your successes story.
“Ghanaian artists show no support for each other when an artist releases an album or single. Young talented girls are looking for support but nobody is willing to support them unless they sleep around. That is bad,” he said.
Lol I dedicated my platform to promote his album..Did a break down for his entire album without taking kobo..Lol when I posted the videos, he no even share am but I’m calm so wtf is he talking about? He should rest! https://t.co/T3wkWUMBXm
