The Savannah Region representative of 2020 Ghana’s Most Beautiful, Christiana Gabby-Hayes Abibata, who goes by the stage name Abiba, has visited the Jakpa Palace in Damongo.
The beauty queen was at the palace to thank the king for his blessings and support during the contest.
Abiba was among 16 contestants who competed in the beauty pageant.
Her excellent performance kept her in the competition till the third eviction night when she was evicted from the house.
Abiba showcased the rich culture and heritage of the new region.
Her visit to the Jakpa Palace was rousing as queen mothers in Damongo led her to pay homage to the King.
At the Jakpa Palace, Abiba expressed gratitude to the people of the region for their support.
She used the opportunity to call for support from all Gonjalanders for project dubbed Abiba Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme, STEPS for short.
“My project will train more youth especially the female ones who run to the South to seek greener pastures because they are not productively engaged due to inadequate employment opportunities and lack of employable skills.”
The beauty queen is currently grooming one Patience Kijina for the Face of Northern Ghana contest.
Earlier, Abiba made a donation to the paediatric ward of the Damongo Government Hospital and the Jafor Primary School.
Her mother, Elizabeth Gabby, expressed gratitude to Media General for bringing Abiba to the limelight and appealed for more support for her daughter.
