Ghana has recorded the highest number of cases yet since the outbreak of coronavirus in the country on Thursday, March 12.
According to the latest release by the Disease Surveillance Department of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Monday, July 6, 992 new cases have been confirmed.
As a result, from 20,085 on Sunday, the country’s total cumulative cases have reached 21,077.
Seven more persons have also lost the battle to the virus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 129.
On the brighter side, 16,070 patients have either recovered or been discharged.
This leaves the country with 4,878 cases under management and care.
