US-based Ghanaian gospel musician and preacher, Sonnie Badu will on Friday May 1 headline a a virtual concert to support the fight against the deadly novel coronavirus.
The virtual concert is geared towards raising funds to support the fight against Covid-19 in Ghana and also to support Ghanaians in the United States who have been affected by the virus.
Other musicians billed to perform at the virtual concert are Joe Mettle, Jeshurun Okyere, Cwesi Oteng, MOG Music, and Emmanuel Smith.
The gospel acts will be supported by two talented hip life artistes; Okyeame Kwame and Bisa Kdei.
Sonnie Badu said the concert is a collaboration between him, the Rock Hill Church and Ghana’s Embassy in Washington.
“I am helping to raise funds for Ghanaians who have been affected by the pandemic and as an illustrious son of Ghana, I feel proud to be called upon to help this good cause,” he reiterated.
The virtual concert will be broadcast live on the Ghana Embassy in Washington’s Facebook page.
