The Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources has donated a set of items to the National Chief Imam, Sheik Dr Nuhu Osmanu Sharubutu, to mark the beginning of the Ramadan season.
It was also in recognition of the celebration of the 101 birthday celebration of the Muslim leader in Ghana.
The donation was made on behalf of the sector minister Cecilia Abena Dapaah by a Director at the Ministry, Mr Joseph Obeng Poku and some officials from the Ministry.
Mr Obeng Poku used the occasion to wish the National Chief Imam and all Muslims a happy Ramadan and good health for the National Chief Imam on the occasion of his101 birthday celebration.
The Protocol Officer at the Office of the National Chief Imam Alhaji Latif who received the items on behalf of the National Chief Imam thanked Ms Abena Dapaah for the kind gesture, noting it came at the appropriate time.
He wished the Minister good health and God’s guidance
Alhaji Latif asured the items will be put to good use.
The items presented included 50 packs water ,four boxes of carbolic soap and 100 loaves of bread.
