Newly elected GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku says defeated aspirant Amanda Akuokor Clinton has something to offer and she is likely to play a role in his administration.
The British-trained lawyer did not get any votes, just like George Ankomah Mensah, in the October 25 elections that saw the Dreams FC owner elected head of the country’s football-governing body.
She has since offered herself up to serve in any role by the new administration.
And this offer appears to be coming her way as Kurt Okraku has promised to give her a call immediately after an exclusive interview with TV3’s Nuong Faalong on Hot Issues.
Broadcast on Saturday, November 2, Kurt Okraku’s interview announced that the only female candidate in the elections will “soon become a football person”.
“Yes, she didn’t do well but I think she has something to offer,” he said.
“I am going to call her after this show.”
He said he is really thinking about the particular role to hand Ms Clinton, nonetheless.
“She is a woman. She is a lawyer. She has a role to play,” he insisted.
“I think that she will learn very fast and she will soon become a football person.”
