They were so close, yet driven far away from the grand finale of the 13th edition of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant.
Unfortunately for Ahafo Region’s rep Afia and Northern Region’s Zara, the final eviction sword landed on them as they became the last contestants to exit this year’s competition, two weeks before the finals.
For the past ten weeks, Zara gave off her best with each one of her weekly performances while representing the people of her region, but she had to walk away from the show due to low public votes.
Afia, who returned to the show last week, had to face the axe for the second time despite being saved by fans to return to the show four weeks after she was evicted.
The Ahafo Region rep failed to amass high votes again, and has missed out on the grand finale despite being given a second chance.
Regardless of her eviction, she gave a good show throughout her period in the competition and sold her newly created region to the whole of Ghana and beyond.
With the two out of the competition, the stage is now set for five finalists to battle it out for the crown, car and cash at stake.
The five – Central Region’s Ekua, Ashanti Region’s Serwaa, Western North’s Saah, Upper East Region’s Ayisha and Volta Region’s Enam – are through to the finals and will go head-to-head for the ‘Ghana’s Most Beautiful’ title.
The grand finale of the 13th edition of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful under the catchphrase ‘Black and Proud’ will come off on Sunday, November 10 at the National Theatre in Accra.
