Ghana’s Patrick Twumasi has completed a move from FC Astana in Kazakhstan to Spanish club Deportivo Alavés.
The 24-year-old has since Thursday officially become a player of the La Liga club for the next four years, TV3 Sports can confirm.
His deal with Astana was due to expire in the summer of 2019 but the club resolved to sell him.
The former Red Bull Ghana forward who started his football career in 2012, has since 2018 scored 18 goals and assisted in three others in a total of 28 games.
He is considered one of the brightest prospects in Ghana football and his new move to the leading European league could see him inch further in his football career.
He joins his compatriot Mubarak Wakaso at the club.
