Head coach of Aduana Stars Kenichi Yatsuhashi is confident he has the best players and they will make it out of the group in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking on 3FM’s Sunrise, Kenichi Yatsuhashi said he can arrest the poor form and qualify Aduana into knock-out stages.
“I think we have pretty good chances for qualifying to the next round. We are far but the points are very close and depending on conquering two matches that we play.”
The two-time Ghana Premier League champions are currently third in Group A behind Raja Casablanca and AS Vita.
According to the head coach, he is adamant and has the right players for the job.
“The backline man was outstanding, the goal keeper played an outstanding game,” he said about his side’s 0-2 loss to AS Vita.
“Whoever says the goalkeeper and backliners didn’t play well was not watching the game well and does not understand the game,” he defended his charges.
He stated that the team is trying its best to close the gap left behind.
Aduana must win their two remaining games against Raja and ASEC Mimosas to stand a chance of making it to the next round.
