The Black Princesses have geared up preparations for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in France from August 5 – 24.
The team has been camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram ahead of the tournament.
On Wednesday, July 25, the team will leave Ghana for Spain to continue preparations towards the U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Coach Yusif Basigi and his girls will play a couple of friendly matches with some female clubs in Spain before leaving for France for the tournament.
Ghana is in Group A and have been paired with the hosts, New Zealand and the Netherlands.
Though the Black Princesses have failed to make a mark in their previous campaigns in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016, they are expected to do well this time around to make a difference.
A total of 16 teams will vie for the final trophy.
