Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has dragged undercover investigative journalist, Anas Aremayaw Anas and his outfit, Tiger Eye PI to the Human Rights Division of the High Court for alleged defamation.
He is demanding among other reliefs ?20 million in damages.
Saanie Daara is one of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) officials captured in Anas’s investigative piece, Number 12, which exposed corruption in Ghana football.

Parts of the exposé captured Saanie Daara in a private conversation with representatives of Tiger PI which suggests he was compromised.
But Saanie Daara in a law suit argues “the secret …as well as the subsequent broadcast of same amounts to a violation of the Applicant’s right to privacy…”

He therefore prays the court to among other reliefs restrain Anas and his team from further broadcasting the video and also to award him ?20 million “in general damages for defamation”
