Beleaguered Chief Executive Officer of Obengfo Hospital, Dr Dominic Obeng –Andoh, who is facing a murder charge, has been granted a 50,000 bail by the Accra Circuit Court due to his deteriorating health.
As part of the bail condition, he is to provide two sureties who must be gainfully employed.
Dr. Obeng-Andoh in whose hands a Deputy Chief Executive Officer for National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP) Stacy Offei Darko died, pleaded not guilty to murder and operation unlincenced health facility.

His deteriorating health has led to his admission at the Ridge Hospital. He had on two occasions failed to appear before the court where he is standing trial with one other Edward Amponsah, who is charged with impersonation.

In court Friday, he struggled to walk and had to be assisted to and from the courtroom, our correspondent reported.
Lawyers for Dr. Obeng-Andoh told the court that they have filed an application at the High Court to stay proceedings.
The case has been adjourned to July 6.
Dr. Obeng-Andoh, popularly referred to as Obengfo, who is the owner of the Advanced Bodysculpt Centre at Weija Junction in Accra, is accused of murdering Ms. Darko at his facility on May 21.
Reports say the deceased walked into the Advanced Body-sculpt Centre after she complained of tiredness and was put on admission.
Her condition was said to have deteriorated after she was allegedly given injection.
She died later.
Dr. Obeng-Andoh allegedly embalmed the body and without the consent of any family member deposited same at a mortuary with the help of his cleaner, Amponsah, who allegedly posed as a relative.
