Beneficiaries were provided with medication.
Speaking to 3news, Ing. Amoa-Mensah said with a “population [of Asunafo South] of over 100, 000 inhabitants, the entire district does not have a single medical doctor employed by the government” to attend to the health care needs of his people in the district.
He also said the Asunafo South district has no government hospital “that is verily in demand.”
The Kukuom Health Centre, he said, is well positioned in terms of infrastructure to be upgraded to a district hospital.
