Investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has filed a suit against the Assin central Member of Parliament (MP) Kennedy Agyapong for defamation.
Anas is demanding GHC25 million from the damages caused him.
Prior to the premier of Anas’ video dubbed ‘Number 12’, the lawmaker accused him of being corrupt and a wife snatcher who has been having a secret affair with the wife of the late Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North constituency J.B Danquah.
The MP accused the journalist of being selective in his documentaries.
The video which was based on Ghana football captured the President of the Ghana Football Association Kwasi Nyantakyi using President Akufo-Addo’s name to dupe foreign possible investors.
Some football officials were also caught in the video collecting bribes and influencing matches.
