A total of 509,824 candidates from 16,060 schools nationwide are expected to write the exams beginning Monday June 4, 2018, in 1,772 centres across the country.
The Director of Public Affairs, WAEC, Agnes Teye Cudjoe in an interview stated that WAEC has put in all the necessary measures for the smooth conduct of the examination with all the materials dispatched to the various exams centres.
She added that WAEC has already sensitized the students and invigilators about the rules for the conduct of the examination and expect that exams will be successful.
Madam Agnes Teye Cudjoe warned that anyone caught cheating will face maximum punishment with the candidate’s papers being canceled.
