Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojsa Kapor says his side are confident ahead of their Ghana Premier League clash with Bechem United.
The Phobians have made a perfect start to the 2026/27 campaign, winning both of their opening matches.
Hearts began the season with an emphatic 4-0 win over Berekum Chelsea before coming back to beat Bibiani GoldStars 2-1 at Dun’s Park last weekend. The result kept them among the early leaders with six points.
Kapor believes the two victories, particularly the comeback win over GoldStars, have strengthened the players' belief in their approach.
“Very important thing is, like you told, our confidence level is very high because of two victories, especially the victory against Bibiani, which is the derby match, and I am sure these three points will give us a lot in future,” Kapor said.
“We will see benefits on this victory, but the current moment is the most important. As I told, our confidence level is very high, and players are really believing in everything we are doing, and I'm sure we will continue our winning path.”
Bechem United, meanwhile, started their campaign with a 1-0 victory but suffered defeat in their second league game against Karela United last weekend.
The Hunters will be looking to bounce back when they travel to Accra to face the league leaders.
The match will be played at the University of Ghana Stadium on Saturday, September 19, with the GFA confirming the venue for the Matchday Three fixture.
Hearts will be aiming for a third consecutive victory, while Bechem will be hoping to return to winning ways.
